Family Music for the Young Child (1 - 4 years)
4 Week Session / 35 minutes
We will be singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening and playing instruments! Class time is fun and educational! Our program not only prepares children for future musical study but also touches on all parts of their development from language, gross and fine motor skills, social & emotional skills to beat competency and pitch matching. Parents are encourage to participate and join in the fun!

Covid Protocols:
Our students and families safety during the Covid 19 Pandemic is of the utmost importance to us. We are carefully following the CDC, City of New Orleans and State of Louisiana recommendations. We will adjust accordingly to these recommendations to insure everyone's safety. Here are the protocols we currently have in place for our Family Music for the Young Child Summer Session 2022:
1) Classes will be held outside (unless inclement weather, see below) and yoga mats will be placed at a safe distance from each other. We will plan our lessons to help children and families to stay distanced from each other.
2) Un-Vaccinated adults are asked to wear masks at all times.
3) Vaccinated adults do not need to wear a mask while attending outside classes.
4) Children are not required to wear masks unless preferred by the parent.
5) Instruments will be cleaned between classes and bleach wipes and hand sanitizer will be available if needed.
Inclement Weather Plan:
If we are unable to conduct our classes outside due to inclement weather we will move our lessons into our 600 square ft. classroom. We will open all windows and doors and will place yoga mats apart at a safe distance. Unvaccinated adults will be required to wear a mask and children that are able or willing to wear a mask while inside are strongly encouraged to do so. If anyone is uncomfortable with attending an inside class we are happy to provide at home videos for this missed lesson. Please let Ms. Carla know if you prefer to have a digital lesson sent home.
