Music Makers at Home (4-5 years as of Aug., 2025) FULL
This year long nature themed class cultivates the child's musical development through singing, story telling, poetry, movement, playing instruments, ensemble work, ear training and listening. Music literacy is introduced through simple musical patterns and games. This is a drop-off class but parents will be invited to visit or join us for a nature walk several times during the school year.
Semester 1- Cattail Marsh & Meadow
Parent Orientation, Sept. 13th at 2:30 (adults only)
Parent Visit during class time, November 3rd
Mondays, 4:10-4:50, August 25th - Dec. 15th (no classes Sept. 1, Nov. 24)
Tuition & Materials- $385 (includes registration fee, Parent Orientation, 15 lessons and 2 Music Packets and CDs)
Semester 2- My Neighborhood
Nature Walk at Jean Lafitte Barataria Preserve in Marrero, January 10th at 10:00 a.m.
Parent Orientation, Introduction to the Keyboard, March 2nd (during class time, childcare provided)
Parent Visit during class time, May 11th
Parent Visit, last day of the spring semester
Mondays, 4:00-4:40, Jan. 5th - May 11 (no classes Jan. 19, Feb. 16, Mar. 30, Apr. 6)
