Private Lessons (prerequisite Keyboard 3)
Children who have completed the Musikgarten curriculum are eligible for private lessons with Ms. Carla where space is available. Students will continue to work on technique through scales, arpeggios and chord progressions. Improvisation and sight-reading will be covered in every lesson and students will be given the opportunity to work on their individual compositions and piano pieces. Music theory will continue to be taught in relation to the music the student is playing with additional games and activities for home. Children interested in singing can also use lesson time to work on additional songs for the voice.
