Music Makers/Intro. to Keyboard (5+ years as of September, 2024)
This year long class begins with 2 nature themed units that cultivate your child's musical development through singing, story telling, poetry, movement, playing instruments, ensemble work, ear training and listening. Music literacy is introduced through simple patterns and games. Second semester the Musikgarten keyboard curricula is introduced. Semester 1- My Home Place & Woodlands
Mondays, 5:00-5:40, Aug. 26th- Dec. 16th (no class Sept. 3, Nov. 25, Dec. 23, 30)
Tuition & Materials- $385 (includes Registration Fee, Spring Parent Orientation, 15 lessons and 2 Music Packets and CDs)
Semester 2- Introduction to the Keyboard
Mondays, 5:00-5:40, Jan. 6th- May 12th (no classes Jan. 20, Feb. 24, Mar. 3, Apr. 21)
Tuition & Materials- $385 (includes 15 lessons, Music Packet with CD and Nature Walk)
Parent Keyboard Orientation, March 10th from 5:00-6:00
Nature Walk, April 5th at 9:00 a.m. at Couturie Forest at City Park
Parent Visit, May 12th during class time
