Music Makers/Intro. to Keyboard (5+ years as of September, 2022)
This year long class begins with a nature themed class that cultivates your child's musical development through singing, story telling, poetry, movement, playing instruments, ensemble work, ear training and listening. Music literacy is introduced through simple musical patterns and games. Second semester the Musikgarten keyboard curricula is introduced. Children will begin to learn to play the songs we have been learning in class through simple pattern work. Families will be given the tools they need to assist their child at home as they begin their journey into instrumental skill and literacy. This is a drop-off class but parents will be invited to visit or join us during class time or for a nature walk several times during the school year.
Semester 1- My Home Place & Woodlands
Tuesdays, 4:50 - 5:30 p.m.
Classes begin the week of August 30th and end December 13th.
There will be no classes on Nov. 22, Dec. 20 & 27.
Tuition & Materials- $365 (includes registration fee, 15 lessons and 2 Music Packets with CDs/Downloads)
Semester 2- Intro. to Keyboard
Tuesdays, 4:50 - 5:30 p.m.
Classes continue on January 3rd and end on May 9th.
There will be no classes on Feb. 14, 21, April 4 & 11.
Tuition & Materials- $365 (includes 15 lessons, Keyboard 1 Book, flashcards and 2 CDs/Downloads)
Makeup Lessons:
Families can schedule up to 2 makeups per semester where space is available. Please call Carla at (504) 717-5044
